IEEE Standard Format is used for EET major.

A MSET project report includes three main parts
- Preliminary pages (Title page, Table of Content, …)
- Main body,
- Reference materials (References, Appendix, …)
The order, regardless of some parts may be left out, is as follows:
- Title page
- Copyright page (optional)
- Dedication, Acknowledgments (optional)
- Table of Contents
- List of Tables (if appropriate)
- List of Figures (if appropriate)
- Text, including the introduction and all chapters
- Appendix (if appropriate)
- Bibliography or References
- Abstract
- Autobiographical Statement
Thesis Defense & Presentation
- It is a formal presentation. You may need to be dressed up as you are making a presentation at a professional conference.
- Typically 30 minutes presentation, followed by 20 minutes for questions:
- Visual aid (such as PowerPoint slides) is strongly recommended
- Go over presentation materials with project advisor before presentation
